I find it hard to earn money by submitting an article to sombody else's page, especially when most of the time he gets all the benefits from this practice. It will matter a little bit for the link building, if you are doing a link building campaign. But notthing much..
Yes it works very well. Article marketing is an effective website promotion technique but you cannot just write one or two articles and leave it alone thinking that you will then enjoy tons of traffic coming in. It takes time and consistent article submission to achieve a consistent stream of traffic. This scenario is rare but it does happen if you have written very unique and informational articles. I have written well over 300 articles and is a top author at EzineArticles with more than 190,000 views. So if you ask me if article submission works, I will tell you YES! If you are keen on picking some powerful article marketing tips, read my free report through my signature.
Another point is that the quality of submitted articles is typically very low. Lots of words, not much information. The reason for this is obvious. The author doesn't know much about the subject and isn't likely to put in the days of research that, for example, your high school english teacher would expect. So he gasses on in generalities, filling the internet with tons and tons of useles drivel. Quality will float to the top. best regards wiz
I wrote 3 articles three years ago. Last week they combined to a total of 38,000 page views. And I have them only posted on my web site. Needless to say, I spent a lot of time doing research and the information is very relevant to a lot of people. best regards wiz
How did I know what to write about? To tell the truth I was surprised at the sucess of these articles. I got the ideas for them by pawing through my logs looking for search terms that people were using to find my pages. I found some that I didn't actually have pages for, but that matched the theme of my site. bset regards wiz
i've researched top site in most competitive niches and 3 common thing i found were - article submission with anchor links to well PR sites - some becomes authors for free with decent PR site - submitting to directories, free and paid - comments on blogs i've seen these pattern for dozens of site with very good SERP in G n Y ... with lots of searches and lots of competing sites yes, writing articles is for long term and you don't have to PAY for it
