I have currently written a series of article titles "Another Great Reason To Use eBay Instead Of Other Online Stores"

I am posting them in parts in this line-up:-

Another Great Reason To Use eBay Instead Of Other Online Stores Part 1
Another Great Reason To Use eBay Instead Of Other Online Stores Part 2
Another Great Reason To Use eBay Instead Of Other Online Stores Part 3
Another Great Reason To Use eBay Instead Of Other Online Stores Part 4
And am still adding more to my list.

These articles all have a link to my site in the resource box.

My question is should I post these articles to multiple article directories or should I post these articles to one article directory?

And will Google penalise me for posting these 4 articles to 15 or so artcile directories if I decide to post in such a manner?

I've been having the same question in mind for some time now. I would like to know if you need to rewrite your articles from you website if you're planning to publish them in directories to avoid duplicate content.

This always makes me grin. Google could care less about your site or your articles. They don't "BAN" you. They write software that filters out sites they believe to be manipulating their search results. The chance of you getting manually banned is extremely small.

And too many people focus entirely on Organic Search results. Why not write articles that people will actually want to read... then give them a compelling reason to click the link in your resource box. If the content is good they will include it on their sites and then you get that much more exposure.

Google doesn't penalize content, they filter it. So if you have 100 articles all the same in a 100000 different sites, they will pick one of those sites as having the most authority and that site will get the "credit" (meaning the Organic Search Rank) for the article. But if each article generates traffic in and of itself then why would you care.

It's not about SEO it's about getting customers to your site ... then converting them. There are a whole lot of reasons and methods to make it happen.

Hmm. It means if someone copies your original article and post it in his website with a higher authority than yours then his website will get the organic search rank for the article. That's not fair. Why would someone bother about writing unique content if he can just buy a domain with a high authority and copypaste articles of others and rip all the benefits?

google can penalize your site for dublicate content so its better to use 1 different article for 1 different article directory

You should know that most article directories include reprinting rights in their terms of conditions. Many people use these directories to find content and post on their blogs / sites. So even if you are posting unique content on each article directory, it's likely that it will get copied by others ;)

So actually one should not use articles that one have on the site for posting to directories. Better write articles that only are ment for posting on directories and not on your site.
