Lets say I have an article optmizied for cat food.

Is it wise to put the article on my site, let it get cached by google, and then have someone submit it to many directories?

I realize that Ezine will not accept articles that exist elsewhere.

I was thinking of having two articles.

One for site + lower quality directories
    One for Ezine articles

All having anchor text pointing back to my site.

    Good idea?

You might use article spinner to change the article.

    Really?!
I think that is just stupid. Yes you should write 2 articles:

    One for your site.
    The second for everything else.

Yeah but how do they know that an article exists elsewhere? If you submit the second to everywhere all in one sitting, Google is not going to tell on you. Hell, Google can take from 1 week up to 3 months before it shows the articles.
