I have started a few posts recently on seo and i have heard the best way is to write articles on sites like enzine etc, i have also heard a lot about article spinning im guessting this just re-arranges the words,paragraphs? How does the program know how to re-arrange the words? Will it just do a few words? or completly change the whole article? Is this classed as spam?
Article spinning involves using a spinner, you select different word choices for the words in your article... Everytime you spin it, it comes up with a new variation of the article, I wouldn't advise it for the top article directories or web 2.0 and certainly not for your own content. Thanks Joe Elliott
What automated spinners do is they scan the content word by word and for each word identifies certain synonyms that have been programmed into a thesaurus database. It then inserts those synonyms into the original content through the spintax format which is {Word 1|Synonym 1|2|3|etc..}. This can then be done at the sentence and paragraph level. The issue with this is that many spinners can not take the overall context of the sentence, paragraph and article into consideration so it may replace words that under one context would make sense, but under your articles context doesn't make sense for example, Original: The Empire State Building looks amazing! Spinned Version: The Empire State Constructing looks amazing! The spinner doesn't know the difference between building as a man-made structure, and building as a verb for creating something. Some spinners have evolved to help reduce these sort of incidents, but that's why spun content often looks like "spam".
