I've just began creating and submitting articles. I submitted my first article to ezinearticles.com 2 days ago, but it's still pending the initial review (step 1 of the 5 step review process). Does anyone else use ezinearticles.com? How long does it take to get approved? Anyone know any article sites that approve faster? Thanks!
goarticles approves almost instantly but you get less juice from them. Ezine usually takes about a week or so for your first article but after you get rolling with them it is only a day or two.
A few that I use regularly: http://www.ezinearticles.com http://www.goarticles.com http://www.amazines.com http://www.articledashboard.com http://www.articlesbase.com http://www.articlealley.com There are many others, just do a simple search on google for "top article directories" or "article directory list" The search feature here on DP will also pull up a ton of threads already discussing this
They have an automatic approval, that is why they do not get as much link juice. The automatic approval does not guarantee that high quality articles are getting accepted since it is pretty much accepting everything. Except for goarticles I used most of those often as well. I tend to stay away from automatic approval directories.
I use article submission software like submiteaze....very good and and fast approving directories listedon it.
http://www.buzzle.com is also a really good directory - Google likes it almost as much as EZA. You need unique articles for this one however. Francis
http://americanahost.com http://archivex-ht.com http://articlebag.com http://articlebin.com http://articlecrux.com http://article-database.com http://articleflair.com http://articlelinksdirectory.com http://articlemetro.com http://articlenexus.com http://articlenic.com http://articleon.com http://articlepile.com http://articlerack.com http://articles.everyquery.com hope this can help you, and ezinearticles.com usually pass one artilce 3 or 4 days, but not sure sometimes
A few weeks ago it was taking about 2-3 days for my articles to get approved. I only ust got platinum status so I imagine that will speed up the review time in a huge way. I use all the top directories listed above as well and get very good results.
It depends on the volume of submissions they are getting. I had one article accepted in 3 days while the other took around 4-5 days.
You may also try http://e-articles.info and if your article qualifies for publication, it gets published within max. 5-6 hours. The approval process takes place at least twice everyday. Moreover, your article gets translated to other 16 international languages within 24 hours. (the links in your signature remain intact on all of the translated versions too)
Articles on EZA can take up to seven days to be approved. But the truth is, EZA is a great place to be. However, there are other good article directories like articlesbase, ideamarketers, thefreelibrary, goarticles and many others.
Do you write these articles outside of your regular blog writing or can you use a long blog post for the content? Do you get enough traffic to warrant the extra time in writing? J ust curious. I already write professionally at a blog, have a few blogs of my own, and am at my max. I cant imagine taking the time to write other posts unless the extra effort was worth the return.
You are right. Goarticles is full of shit. Just browse and see. Many articles even aren't well formatted.
Article directories are an excellent way to get going as far as link building is concerned. Article site links are those which over a period of time gains authority within the site and among the search engines and thus link value increases over a period of time, while many other forms of links dont work so well, for example, forum signature links are good as a one time link, but if you dont post regularly in the forum and show your signature links to the bots it gets devalued over a period of time, so submit article to as many top directories as possible and it can do a world of good to your product or site, but ensure that you submit to at least PR1 directories and there are at least 50+ good quality article directories, where the search bots stays and visits regularly. Few article sites which give a faster review time is thefreelibray.com, articleblast.com High PR, great alexa ranking and good to get dofollow backlinks and indexed. Many instant approval article directories are nofollow, like for example, articlesbase.com, articlesnatch.com etc
Thanks for the valuable information! I knew most of it but the point of Search bot was a new thing to learn. Can u please explain how we can figure out whether a search bot stays on a site for a long or not?
for a beginner ezinearticles takes minimum 7 working days to review your article. I have passed the phase of basic member, basicplus and now I am a Platinum member.
