Nice glossy layout. I think the overall design would benefit a lot of a good solid colorful logo design rather than just plan text in the header.

when i first enter your site the 3 columns are all headed by ads. there's not content until i start scrolling down. you could be loosing business here?

glossy layout is good.
I too suggest the layout given by lychee

 

seeing a lot of articles that do not fit in the selected categories, but otherwise i like the design.
