    Google has been doing this to a lot of sites like that lately. They're really cracking down now, so I definitely wouldn't be relying on those sites to make your own site/s popular.

    IMO, it's just google getting really good at recognising masses of spun content - that coupled with the giant footprints these networks inevitably end up producing

    I think its the effect of Google panda update. It is affecting so many sites of recent and it goes to show that relying on those sites isn't a good idea.

    WOW, unbelievable, their business destroyed, for many sites, if they get deindexed, it's like a death sentence. but this also shows that google improving their system all the time.
