    I think he does not like this phrase.

    Putting minimum bid and reserve price would be better then saying that.

    We have to know you're serious about selling before we are serious about bidding.

    I'd not waste my time bidding if I know that the highest bidder could still not get the site.

    I understand. Hows this: anything above $50 will be accepted! aka the highest bidder will get it, bids starting at $50!
