hi DP members,i have question regarding article marketing, say i have selected the product and written a review and then submitted my article to ezine. So do my article need to rank on top of google to make me some money?
Article marketing does three things. 1. It puts your article on a high ranking website that google 'trusts' (ezinearticles). This may mean your article ranks highly for the relevant search term (it depends on factors such as competition and how well optimized other content is). 2. It provides a 'quality' one way inbound link to your webpage, this improves how well google ranks your webpage in search results. 3. It may provide targeted traffic when people read your article and then click the link in your bio box and visit your webpage. Hope this helps.
Don't get it wrong. Review is not the same as article. Your submit to Ezine ARTICLES,not reviews, which are about the niche you are promoting. For example, if you are promoting FatLoss4Iidots then you would write articles about how to lose weight, diet tips, etc At the end of your article you put a link to your landing page, where should be your product review (FatLoss4Idiots)
Thanks for replying guys. @blackman..i do understand your point,i will write article on specific niche and then put my review site link in resource,so my question remain same, does that article need to rank in 1st page of google to make any sales?
Hi Raycol.. although yo may get traffic from Ezine originally.. essentially you need to write well optimised articles to get good search engine ranking to continue getting traffic... I recently blogged about articles and how Ezine ain't the only gig in town...Squidoo is like a fancy article directory with lots of options.. and GoArticles is hot too... Jay
