    Hello.
I have an article on eza, and it`s 13th place in google for a keyword. Yesterday, for the same keyword there was another article (written by somebody else) on the 3rd page. Today that article is in the first place in google. How can I get my article on the first page too? How can I check the backlinks that article has?
    Thanks
    Eddy

Yeah, it is all about the backlinks, you may of overtaken the other article because of the temporary boost you will get from publishing a new article - i.e. you will have more inbound links from within ezine articles and be on more important pages, but as you sink into the background you will need links from external sources to make sure you stay ranked on google.

I've found that using onlywire.com to bookmark my ezine articles if often all that's needed to beat other ezinearticles, although you can write some additional articles for other dofollow article directories, like goarticles, and link them to your ezinearticle as well to help even more. (Digg, by the way, won't accept ezine for bookmarks, but many bookmark sites will).

In the internet marketing world, articles are used to create backlinks. So you should again work for creating backlinks for your article.

You can use blog commenting to get links too. use the name/url function. The url is the url of that particular article.

bookmark your article on sites like stumbleupon and digg. make a pdf of your article and submit it to various article directories
