What are your experiences with article directories and article writing in general for website promotion in languages other than English? I have recently built an article directory in Portuguese and am not so sure about the prospects for popularity. I'm thinking that this will definately grow in other languages, but it seems difficult to find free articles and to get people to post. Do any of you write/host articles in other languages and, if so, have you had success?
I've been considering posting articles in Spanish, but haven't got to the point of actually writing any. Not sure if there are any Spanish language article directories but I'd be keen to find them if they exist.
They are few and far between. I'm thinking that starting directories in those languages at this moment is either a great idea or a futile one. I don't know whether it will spread. I built a couple of sites in foreign languages and was angry that I couldn't promote them with article submissions because there were no decent directories.
It is really to promote something that is not in english but spanish is not so big problem you have a lot of submit link sites in spanish language, the most of Latin Amerika speaks spanish it is a lot of people...
Spanish is really not a big problem.. However,if the issue is evaluated in my own language Turkish,it is big problem indeed.
agree, there a lot of spanish-speaking people. so this is less of a problem compared to other languages.
Google Translate? Write up your articles in english, then just use google translate to convert them to different languages, then just have subdomains on your site like. es.yoursite.com that way you appeal to a large audience with limited extra work.
