what is the best way to write an article, or a squidoo lens, so it will be indexed on a good spot on Google? how long should I wait to get my article on the top 10 search results? (if it's well optimized of course)
There is no magic...just follow normal SEO techniques such as keyword in title, header and content, well written content (but no keyword stuffing), etc.
Yes. That would fall into normal good SEO practices. The best way to get the back links is to write high quality content that people would want to link to naturally. Focus on providing value to readers on your topic rather than thinking only in terms of ranking well.
If your article is eye-catching, other reader will link bait that....link bait serves as your backlinks.
Well there "is" document formatting techniques with keyword placement, relationship etc but really it's too involved to teach someone in a post. I've ranked documents for 100 Million plus terms with no external backlinks to it. But, just create a well readable article using good keywords and keyword combinations and it will do ok.
well, I wrote this very nice squidoo lens some BS about bodybuilding with some affilate links right now it ranks like 14000 on squidoo, it's pretty good for 6 days, i think.. I don't have any back links to it but it's well writen (it's my first article) maybe you guys can check it out and tell me how I can make it better in seo terms so it will be indexd well in google http://www.squidoo.com/top-bodybuilding-ebooks-guides
maybe you just use the tool to find relevant keyword with your article topic... find it it at my blog. just try and try. maybe at least 20 days your site will at the top of google.
As far as I know you should have differnt article (for SE at least) on each source you have posted the article on.
