Hi, Is it worth the time and efforts to submit my articles to all the articles directories that I can find.? I mean some of them do not have any traffic. In other words is it more efficient to just submit my articles to site with Alexa ranking greater than 20,000 or just top 1000 aLexa ranking sites? What are your thoughts?
Don't submit to all just the top ones. Your going to get tired and you won't get any traffic from the sites with low traffic.
Article submission is great for highering your PR. If this is what you want to do, consider submitting to the major popular article directories where you articles can be seen to used.
I get most traffic from http://www.ezinearticles.com/ Also, my articles are reproduced on the net from this source. I also use Isnare.com to distribute my articles to many many ressources. It cost 2$ per article. The more you publish the less it cost.
if you are going to submit different articles to the different directories , it will help you but one article to 500 directories will not help you. i believe G will filter most of them because of the dublicate content
I just go for the High PR sites.I know they can only bring me anything ! Submission is not the key , but to what u submit the real factor.
I would say that it would serve you better to go with the directories that are going to be most helpful in getting you exposure (higher PR directories). Here are a few that you can start with: EzineArticles, ArticleDashboard, Isnare (all PR 6) ArticleAlley, Ideamarketers, SearchWarp (all PR 5) If you have really good articles, you stand a better chance of being picked up by more publishers. So keep this in mind whn submitting your content...
I'm suggesting not to ignore the low quality ones, They could be new.. and when growing up your articles will be one of the old ones on the server. An extra backlink for you... do you afford losing it?
I wanted to suggest that you consider the directories in terms of page rank. Those with high PR are likely to have your links indexed faster. Aside that, you are sure to get direct visitors as they will be better crawled and well-placed in SERPs.
If you have the time then do the low traffic sites. If you don't have the time then do only the high traffic sites.
I submit my articles to many article directories. I get the most direct traffic from ezinearticles.com of course But there are other major directories as well that I get some traffic from. By submitting my articles to many other article directories I increase my link popularity, which helps my search engine rankings. Also other people republish my article with my resource box, and my link popularity goes up even more.
Keep the articles you submit different to the ones on your site. This is important but sometimes igfnored. Keeping it different allows your site to rreamin more unique.
If you want traffic from articles... don't waste your time with the monsterously monster article directories. Find ezine and newsletter publishers and submit your original articles to them. -SS
Depends on what your budget is, what is your strategy and goals. If I were you I would certainly submit to the top article sites: ezinearticles.com articlecity.com newsnarticles.com articlesfactory.com Here I've found another list: http://www.avangate.com/articles/article-submission_72.htm but I have not tested it myself. It depends much on what do you submit. If you will submit the same title+description+text, then I would recommend to submit only to sites with high PR, but if you have an opportunity to vary title, description and text a little, then, it worth submitting to sites even with low Alexa rating and PR. I would recommend to submit to 5 top web-sites manually, and for other 100+ buy a bulk submission service.
there are plenty of lists like that one... i guess there a few threads on Dp too..with thosnds and thosnds of directories... of course not all of them worth submitting... But there are more quality ones then the 4 you've mentioned. Isnare, aaley, adashboard... and so on... Anyway I like your idea of submitting one version of the article to the top ones and a bulk submissions to the low quality ones... I guess it worth tried.
