Quick Question, I've just setup my first blog, and want to do some article marketing to drive some traffic. It's been a while since Ive done any of this. Whats the new best way to send my articles out there with a link pointing back to my blog. Is this even a good way to get traffic anymore? If not, whats best? I'm trying to get good targeted traffic that will comment and participate on the blog. Thanks in advance!
Well, article writing and submitting is a good technique to drive traffic toward your website, you can use body links with anchor text and you can also use the resource box in article submission in which you can set your author bio so that people like to use it to navigate at your website ........ After writing some good, unique and informative article, submit it to some good article directory having a good page rank and back links and you should populate the link of your article at some best social media websites like Digg, stumble upon, twitter etc etc
Yeah i agree with asimfarooq633. Mostly articles site used Author Bio. This generates traffic and increases PR also.
You may want to also look at article submission service like Unique Article Wizard, or SubmitYourArticle.com. They've got a lot of article directories they can submit to for more exposure. Some of the article directories also let you do revenue sharing with Google Adsense. That can put a few dollars in your pocket while you build traffic to your blog. Good luck.

People are still reading articles on article directories and it still is a good source of traffic. Its still a good way to get traffic you just have to be consistant with it.. it still works...if you want fast traffic then you would have to pay for it..
You can try guest blogging. It is one of the good ways to generate backlinks but in order to do guest posting. You got to have at least 10 quality post on your blog first.
i think quality comment with link on blog is good way... if you spam, the admin will delete your comment....
