Hi guys, just curious: I am currently using article marketing for affiliate products but am thinking about generating some smaller income streams by doing article marketing with adsense and not promoting a product. Does anyone do this or does it seem like it would be too much effort for too little reward? Also, does anyone ever place Adsense on presell or landing pages or is that just dumb?
Go with hubpages. I started off writing there years ago. You're able to promote your affiliate programs, and earn from adsense. I earned 32.00 taday and I haven't published on hubpages in 4 years.
You need to churn out a lot of articles to make any money doing this. However if you use your keywords in your anchor text, then you will benefit from higher search engine rankings in the long run which will make it worthwhile.
Hello, I do this more than affiliate products. I've been doing it for about 7 years now, starting slowly. It is good for income, but it's not the same type of articles as affiliates, for adsense you want to write about things for maximum traffic, not for laser targeted traffic.
Just out of curiosity, how many hubpages do you have? Is that $32 from a lot of hubpages or just a few?
I do commercial content creation and management. What you are saying can work but start thinking 50-100 articles targeted at 1 website to see good results
You have to submit as many as articles with your own signature. And thus if you can more traffic and get more money.
I've been doing this a couple of years with success (it pays the health insurance). I use the articles primarily for backlinks, i.e. for SEO. Yes, I get some clickthroughs as well
