I'm new at this and would just like to know what success/failure others have had with article marketing. I started out with ezine and I can clearly see the links on Google Webmaster tool. However, I don't see links from the articles that were "published" on ezine. Why not? I'm in week three of using Unique Article Wizard. Webmaster Tool is showing only 2 links from UAW directories. When I do an author search I can find 100s of my articles and the ones I tested, the anchor text worked. Why wouldn't these show on Google as links? Anyone else have this experience.
Honestly, I'm not sure how many of the people use these services to publish articles. And why would they? it's basically duplicate content at that point.
Ah but they are not duplicates. That's why i went with UAW. The only thing that is the same is the author name. The article and the resource box are unique.
I wouldn't expect too much SEO value from articles marketing on it's own. You need to mix it up with some other techniques. Keep doing it . . . but don't get too hung up on it

The main thing to worry about when it comes to aritcle marketing is to ensure that the sites you are posting on are do follow. This could be the major reason why some sites are not showing up as back links.
