When you write articles for Clickbank products your promoting, which do you find to be most effective?

    1. Submitting articles to EZA, AB, GA etc. and pointing them to a hoplink
    2. Submitting articles to EZA, AB, GA etc. and pointing them to a review page
    3. Writing articles on your own blog that you promote
    4. Other? [Please explain!]

And which has a better ROI? Assuming articles "cost" $5 each, would you make more money article marketing or doing a PPC campaign? (if you chose only one, of course.)

I think it is pretty impossible to say which you can make more money on PPC or Article Marketing - it depends on too many factors, the product you are selling, your ability to write articles / write PPC ads, the PPC cost, how many views / visits your article gets etc.

I generally write a bunch of articles and the types that are converting I go and write more for until I have a really good idea of which keywords are buyers ones, and then I will go and do some PPC for these keywords.

As for your 1, 2, 3, list, everyone will probably tell you something different. When testing a product I may just send a bunch of traffic direct to the merchant, but generally a better option, and a more long term option in my opinion is to build a landing page on your own domain, or write an article on your own blog and then post articles on the directories you mention to both feed your main site traffic, and build backlinks to it to boost it's search rankings.. just my method and everyone seems to have different preferences :)

Well I am talking about individual experiences here. Obviously it will vary niche to niche, but in one niche that you're promoting in which you've done both, which has had better conversions for you?
