Please refrain yourself from providing with : duplicate, useless or not proven techniques and tips! Tip #1 : Increase the "SEO Score" of your article: Write 2 articles or 1 article and 1 rewrite of it. submit theoriginal article to EzineArticles.com, than submit your 2nd article to the top 10 article directories linking back to your first article. Using this method your first article will get a much more good chances of rising in the SERPs and bringing you more traffic. Waiting for Tip #2.....
I must say I appreciate that tip there you started off with because even I dont use that technique but I can see how it would work out to be a great one. My Tip #2 would be: Ensure that your title is keyword focused.. Pay attention to the first 3 words in your article titles. If you are trying to get listed for the keyword/phrase 'article marketing tips' then put those three words creatively at the head of your article title like 'Article Marketing Tips: Keyword Focus' could be the name of your article and your article would be focused heavily on your keywords. Search engines are looking for the most relevant websites for the terms searched and with an article titled 'Article Marketing Tips: Keyword Focus' you would look pretty relevant for the search term 'article marketing tips'.
