Thank you for your post. I have finally got an article that is popular - it was approved 6 hours ago and has 400+ views already. It has not even hit the home page yet - or been indexed by google! I have a question for you: I have seen many people here and in other forums talk about a 35% or 50% CTR from their articles to their website. So far, this article has a CTR to my site of about 8%. After that it is 50% CTR fro my site to my CB hop link. So: how do you get people to click through from the article to your site?? I'd love to get 35% CTR on this article. I think it's going to be a big one. Thanks for your time. ~ Nick
Thanks for sharing this info. This is definitely one of the best advice for anyone who's interested to start doing article marketing.
yeah I only use ezine articles for backlinks but I recommend creating blogs are try ranking for them as they tend to last longer in the serps than articles. Plus i still think its a very labourous way of making money on the internet SEO is much more profitable!!
There's different trains of thought, whereby SEO gives you assets which you can either sell or improve on whereas you can use articles for a whole range of things including to make direct sales quickly or to build traffic in any niche you want. Remember, article marketing can lend itself a whole range of different marketing activities which will ultimately benefit you and your bottom line. You don't even need to use EzineArticles. You can just as easily use Squidoo to make your own "lens" in the same fashion as article marketing.... just with a bit more content.
I don't see why one can't use them for backlinks AND direct traffic. That's what I try to do - I do get the pages I'm linking to indexed and ranking high for more competitive terms - and then use the EZineArticles for more long tail terms.
