Is it ok to submit your articles to more than one place? (IE EzineArticles, GoArticles, Etc)?

Would you consider it more or less beneficial to submit to multiple places?

My thought is that submitting to multiple places will give you some sort of search engine penalty since that article is no longer unique to the 1 site you submit to.

What are your thoughts? I searched and got quite a few mixed opinions.

    Expert opinions much appreciated.

I've used article submision with articlemarketer, and it has worked alright for me for a long time.
I think it's safe to do.

Hi, duplicate content is often frown upon by marketers but it is actually overrated in its effect. It is ok to submit your articles to multiple directories for added exposure.

While some of the articles will not stay indexed in the search engines, some of them would continue to do so and give you backlinks to your website. I know that because this is one of my strategies using mass submission.

Doing so has the advantage of getting multiple backlinks to improve your site ranking as well as getting direct traffic when your articles rank in the serps. It is not uncommon for a few exact duplicates ranking together.

However, my golden rule is, always submit to EzineArticles first to get it indexed. This will ensure that it gets the original spider love.

You can also rewrite your article into many versions and then submit them to each directory. There are lots of good tools that can do that for you.

I have compiled some killer tips on article marketing in my free report. Do check it out.

EzineArticles is the only one I use anymore. It just seems to be the only one that is worth the effort especially if you plan on doing it manually. You will find that you get most of your articles views from EzineArticles as opposed to any of the others.

i can't agree more with you.
However i have found out that a findarticles.com article can rank high in the search engines as well.
The best way to discover this is by doing it yourself.

For months, I have only submitted to ezinearticles, all manually. It works great for me.
