    Well it is good to get the visitors as well anyway, I've had great luck with traffic from article web sites. I would suggest you do both, no reason why you should miss out on an opportunity for anchor text placement (assuming it is related).

    Use links in your resource box. Keep the anchor texts to 3 words or less, and submit no more than 3 links in your author box. That works best.
