I know a lot of people rely on article marketing as their primary way of building links. Is this something that everyone should do? I ask because I feel like I am giving away quality content that I could just post on my own blog when doing this. I guess the question is: Is it worth it to give up a quality blog post just to get links from the directory? Or would I be better off just adding the quality post/article to my blog instead? Thanks in advance for any and all answers
the way I do it is to post content to my blog first wait until it gets indexed then edit it a bit, change headline etc and then use as article content - works for me
That makes sense. Seems like it takes me forever to write 1 blog post so I didn't want to give away my hard work. Appreciate the answer. Will give it a try and let you know how it works out for me
I do article marketing constantly, and I only use Ezinearticles. The valuable information that I constantly give will make people want to know more about what I have to offer in my website, and perhaps sign up to my mailing list, buy something, click an ad, etc.
I post content to EzineArticles and once approved, I submit it to my personal blog. Then you can make a video or audio version as well afterwards. Good luck!
I think you should do both.. your personal blog and article directory are great way to generate traffic and site rank when you publish unique, quality and valuable article.
If your blog has huge traffic , then keep the content in your blog . But if you are looking to increase traffic, then you need to submit it in other places online.
I found if you post a descent article along with a embeded youtube video you get indexed much faster. I move a page up from page 26 to page 3 buy only doing this. I just made sure the keywords I used on both matched up. I just made a BS video on the topic I was working with and that did the trick.
normally i post a rewritten version of the article from my blog into article directories. So far article directories help a lot in my google ranking compare to other link building method.
of course , it is useful , and i have gotten so many backlinks from this way , so i think you can do that .
Quality has no alternatives, whether you use that quality article on your blog or article directories. Article directories also give prefence to quality articles submitted to them. Gone are the days of submitting articles to these directories just for the sole purpose of gaining links. Thes days ,directories manually check most of articles and approve them accordingly. and in long term you can get your quality article ranked higher in search engines.
I suggest you put your article into Ezine directory first, once they approve your article, you can then post it to your blog.
you can just rewrite your article and post it to an article directory. i certainly recomment this than submitting it extactly how it is
I generally use buzzle and ezine to submit my articles and it pays off but I do keep some for my blog as well.
Article marketing hasn't worked for me. All it does is give enzine articles some adsense revenue but virtually no clicks back to the sites I was promoting. Chris Knight was quoted as saying that in the past you could corner your niche with just 10 to 20 articles. Today (Apr 2011) it is more like 100 to 250! Very few people have republished my articles and some have done it with my links removed - so what's the point? Plus there is always the looming issue of duplicate content...
In what aspect? Traffic or backlinks? It works well with backlinks. Regarding traffic well this depends how catchy is your article to readers.
