I am really getting into article marketing and I would like to know what you successful affiliates would recommend. I am writing articles currently, but I am direct linking which is not ideal. Would you 1. Direct link using a .info domain 2. Make a wordpress blog and link to that 3. Make a Squidoo Lens and link to that 4. Make a Hubpage and link to that With wordpress, if I am understanding it correctly is I put up a page or review of the product. Link my articles to that site ( do I put my articles on this site first?) Do I need to get a wordpress blog hosted?
I wouldn't host my review site with any service that could shut it down at any time. If you make a Squidoo lens and spend a bunch of time promoting it, what happens if Squidoo shuts it down? You're screwed. Spend the money to register your own .info domain and pay a few bucks a month for hosting. You can then host your own Wordpress blog (or whatever type of site you want) and have full control over it.
it depends on the products. If it is the cell phone related, then direct link can work well, ofcourse you should buy a domain name to redirect it. If it is ebook, such as diet, you'd better write a review for it, then put the link on your review page.
The best strategy is linking it to a blog. In your blog you need to either do a review or story type pre-selling. Pre-selling is very important, it will definitely increase your conversion rate.
I would take a .com domain name and do a 301 redirect masking my affiliate link. I will publish that link under each article resource box on EZA. I think it's too much work to start another blog especially when you want to promote 5 affiliate products.
