I have one query regarding using article marketing for building links to our sites. suppose I have submitted one article previously where I have put a link to my website in the resource box I want to know if I submit another article (say with some other topic) with a link to the same website will both the links get count in search engine ranking
While passing PR SE count a link from one domain only once .(assume that ezine.com is a PR 6 site) Like if u submitted one article at ezine.com/your-first article and got a link from there and then sumbitted other at ezine.com/my-second article then you will still get the value for one PR 6 EVEN though your webmaster account will show you two links but the PR flow is still counted for only once for a single domain . So in your case it will be better to submit the second article to another site rather than posting on the same site since you have said that link building is your only intention .
ok thanks for your advise but I also would like to know that if I change the anchor text will that be beneficial and also if I point it to another page on the same site will it benefit
Multiple links to one website from same website are counted as one by search engines, however you write more articles and they are further linked by other sites, then your backlinks would be increased automatically.
Techlunatic the problem you have is that the articles will NOT have PR6 instantly, as this is allocated to the home page, any new content will take time to gain PR.
I agree with you geester but I have heard something called link juice that passes to the internal page.Is it true??
