Article Marketing: On-Site --> Directories with Link Backs?

I am quite overwhelmed with article marketing.

I have a question:

Here is my situation: I created a site that ranks high for its main terms. I've created many links to it. It works out well.

But on the bottom the site, I have tons of links to pages that have aritlces on them. Everything is optimized for keywords, with each page build around a keyword, etc..

I thought that these pages would naturally link high because they are coming from my site. But I was wrong.

These pages have been indexed by google, and I now want to submit them to GoArticles.com

Is it ok to do this, and.. is it cool if I have one anchor text link linking back to the original article (to bring the article up in the SERPS) and another anchor text link leading to my main page?

 

No it's not right thinking.................
If you submit them in GoArticles then it wud create duplicate content issue and might be your domain is not strong such as GoArticles so articles on your domain wud get negative response from Google.

If you wanna get backlinks for your articles then bookmark them in different bookmarking sites. This wud give u plenty of backlinks and high rankings for ur articles.............

 

But i've heard that if the page has been indexed, google will not penalize.

Anyone agree?

 

It's fine as long as all articles are original but I prefer Ezines over GoArticles

however, if the article content and body is on your site, your facing a duplicate content issue and Google won't care what PR your site is, they'll drop the hammer on you.

 

First if you think Google penalize for duplicate content then it's completely wrong. Bcoz duplicate content is not a issue for penalty.

And second thing Google said clearly if two pages or two sites have same content then they wud give more priority to that page or site which has more reputaion, visitors lover and strong domain with more backlinks. So i told u each and every thing now that's ur decision what u shud do??

 

Oh I see. I always thought google respsected the site that had the article indexed first.

 

Ok so I WONT get penalized .. but the article will probably rank high in the SERPS. But will it eventually fade and push my page up? Because that is what I want anyway..

 

I said u earlier that i am sure, ur domain is not strong such strong as Goarticles. And when Google index ur articles on GoArticles then it wud consider that u have copied content from Goarticles and it wud ignore articles on your site and throw them back in rankings and they wud not appear anywhere for any keyword whatever competitive or long term.

And if you have gud articles then you wud get traffic for long term keywords not for competitive ones from GoArticles and on the other side you wud get negative response for ur site which is also not gud.

So that's why i said just do bookmarking of your articles it wud push up your articles on top, give u backlinks, traffic and also wud make ur domain strong. Also give them proper title and description and do proper on page optimization which you can't do in Goarticles. I am sure they wud rank higher and it also make ur domain strong. If you wanna work then do work on your site than other's site. It wud help you lot.

 

Yes but google has alread SEEN the article on my SITE and indexed it MONTHS ago. That is why I don tthink I'll get penalized at ALL -- no rank loss. Perhaps the article WILL outrank my site because Goarticles is a much bigger and respectable site...

I think that this is the case. I have written alot of articles to my blog then after they are indexed i submit them to directories. So far i have not had any problems with DC. Some of my blog posts out rank the directories
