    Hello fellow cybots
No offence, none taken. Can anyone respond with a few decent lines about the magic of article marketing, i realise this field is on the increase and is directly proportional to a great deal of traffic routing for a website.
Any information really, should each article be different, or can they be multiple copies, does it make a difference. Are the effects immediate or can this take months, and lastly.
Can anyone just steal your article by cut and pasting the information, or do you have any protection, with regards to your own unique content, that is posted across the web.

    Thanks Team, enjoy the weekend

Technically, if you write something, you own the copyright for it. So if somebody copies your stuff, you have the right to sue them. It's hard to prove though so you'll need a good lawyer.

Writing articles is a good way to get Google to notice you. The more unique it is, the better. Let's assume you post the article on your own website... Google will pass some traffic to you directly and thus having a lot of good quality articles is a way to get traffic.

Another way is to post those articles on other sites. Those sites will then get the traffic, and since you'll have links in your articles to your own site, some of those visitors will click through to you. Google will also see these links pointing to you and which will help make your site look more credible (and rank higher in the serps).

So, in both cases... the answer is yes. Articles are good whether on your site or another as long as there are links to you. Now, the debate really is on whether or not duplicate content helps or hurts you. The answer is debatable. You'll get people who claim one way or another. In my experience, original content is better, but duplicate content hasn't really hurt me much.

Some people go to the extent of changing up some of their article so it is more original, and that's probably a good idea. My suggestion is to write up 10-20 articles and do a test of different techniques and see what ends up the best. Everybody has a little different situation and opinion.

Oh, and yeah, people are going to scrape your content and use it for themselves. It sucks, but it's a fact of life.

    Short :

I used article marketing. I submitted same article no more than 5 times in 5 different article directories. Then I rewrite the article and start over.

To submit a totally different article to EACH article directory / press release website or whatever, to avoid duplicate content... it is a pain in the *ss.. and I think it's pretty useless also.

    Why... ???

    Because you noticed yourself:
"Can anyone just steal your article by cut and pasting the information, or do you have any protection, with regards to your own unique content, that is posted across the web."

That's the answer. I find my article (with the author name and link changed) posted on another 3 or 4 websites, several weeks later.

I am using this list of article directories, as well as PR sites, normal directories that are accepting articles. I don't give any more attention on how many times I submit my article.. as I know it will be eventually copied by others.
