I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a good keyword research tool BESIDES Wordze, Keyword Disocvery, Google Keyword, Overture, or Word Tracker. This also includes Keyword Analyzer and Keyword Elite. I specifically need one with strong data that is free if possible. Also, what is everyone's take on duplicate content? I used to think it would get you banned from the search engines but a recent report I read stated that it won't. ASSUMING you follow the guidelines. So what's the take...
The best keyword tool is your brain. Period.. the Google external is the next best thing you should use... Duplicate content does matter, it won't necessarily get you banned.... but the supplemental index is a hellish place to be if you get cast out to there.. Peace Jay
I have heard SO many stories on duplicate content that i know have no idea on what to believe. Just try to get as many backlinks as possible and see where you end up! Who Knows.....I Don't
^^ I thought someone once said that duplicate content does NOT hurt your rankings, assuming its not found on more then 1 spot on a single domain name.
I find that articles have a short effective life unless they are original and the title is something someone is searching for. I only release articles at ezinearticles.com and I do not have much duplicate content on my sites.
