When you submit articles to different article directories, is it okay to submit the same article at different directories or do I have to revise each and every one of them. I find article submission very efficient in getting traffic for my google adsense site...but I only submit at one article directory and that is ezine articles. I am planning to submit also in other article directories. So should the articles be unique ones also or can they be the same articles that I submitted already and got published at ezine articles?
Yeah I was thinking the same thing...oh well, one article re writer that I bought here in DP does not work very well at all so its time to do some work. Thanks!
The whole thing doesn't need to be new, you can just change up a few sentences / the order of paragraphs / etc to have it not count as dup content.
Yes i think if we can re write them than they will get indexed easily and works better . I have some confusion like i have seen so many people on dp buying blogpost on 50 to 100 blogs for backlinks and provide articles to them . Now they post same articles on their 50 to 100 blogs . But these guys get good baclinks but don't you think it can give bad effect also .
I don't think links on other websites to your site will penalize you. I think what Google does is if they deem the page that your link is on to be duplicate content or a paid link etc., they do not pass much weight (if any) to your link so the benefits are very minimal (if any). Obviously if your link was on a page with unique quality content on the same topic (niche) as your site then Google will pass more weight to your site and therefore is of greater benefit to you.
Duplicate content won't do any harm, but at the same time it won't help much! if you want traffic and quality backlinks from other articles submission sites then you should submit unique articles in all of them!
I have an Article Directory and from time to time when I'm bored have a look through the stats. I seek out the keyword/terms that bring visitors to the site/article. I check the term in Google and find what position the term I'm checking is in. Usually on the first page along with a whole lot of other article directories with that same keyword/term. So then I check out some of the other sites ranking for the term. A lot of the time I see the exact same article, word for word, no changes at all in other directories or on websites. I noticed articles can be indexed pretty fast as well, some of the terms are sending people to the article via google a week or two from the time the article was submitted to the directory. So it looks like it doesn't matter how many sites the article is submitted to and you don't have to bother reworking the article .... although making a couple of small changes certainly wont hurt and will give you peice of mind.
Agree, to avoid anything unwanted happen why not you just write something new Or maybe you can upload your articles to other articles directories.
You can always spin your article into a few different versions. This will make your article submission more effective. Unique content linking back to your site. Check out my signature on how to spin your article for FREE and then submit it to a few hundred directories.
Don't worry about the duplicate content. The value of article marketing isn't the backlinks. If you think it is, you should learn more about linking strategies. Think of the backlinks as the icing, not the cake. It doesn't make sense to write unique content for each article directory because you'll be wasting a ton of time for a minimal difference. The goal of article marketing is to write an article that people will read and want to come to your website - period. The more directories you have your article on, the more chances of someone seeing it, finding it interesting, and visiting your website. If you put the article on your website and make sure google has indexed it before you submit it, your site will be the one that comes up in searches, and you'll still get all the other benefits of having the article on directories. The other benefit of writing a good article is that other webmasters like it and publish it on their own sites. This viral effect is much better than spending your own time trying to squeeze another low-pr backlink out of the article. I've had articles I submitted to one directory that got published 70 times. That's 70 backlinks that I didn't do a thing for - people liked the article and did the work for me. Bottom line: Write your articles to attract traffic. Do a good job and the backlinks will come on their own.
