Article Marketing Duplicate Content Question

    Hello

I was wondering if submitting the same article across multiple article marketing sites would be considered duplicate content.

Say I have 4 articles on my site. Now say that I submit each of those articles to 4 article directories.

If the articles are exactly the same and they are all linking back to my page is this considered duplicate content??

    Thanks in advance.

No, that is not duplicate content. Submitting a same article to many different article directories is perfectly fine. Duplicate content would be if you submit the same article twice to the same article directory.

You should be ok, but I would not over submit the articles though.

But what about the links from duplicate content???, so far i know is, google will ignore links from duplicate contents, or those links have low value...

As long as the article directory has high enough PR and the content and the link anchor text is relevant to your site then the links have a good value. That the articles are the same that would not affect the link value and there is no Google penalty or anything like that.

    Awesome.

Thanks for the response everybody. So as long as the PR to the sites are high and my content and links are good, I should be ok??

I am planning on submitting to as many High PR sites (at least 8-10) so I was just wondering if this would be considered duplicate content. Thanks again.

It certainly shouldn't do any harm, major news organizations post the same content that is already featured on other sites all the time, it's called syndication. Google likely won't count all the links equally, but it's worth doing anyway.

I have heard that it is duplicate content and that you should slightly edit your article for every couple of submissions. Correct me if that is wrong.

There is nothing wrong with submitting the same content to multiple sources and you won't be "penalized" for it, as I mentioned above, if you look at major news organizations, you'll notice that many of them share content and post it in multiple places creating what some people would call "duplicate content" and yet these sites continue to rank well for just about anything.

That being said, the more unique you can make each submission, the better. Having links from multiple sources is almost certainly better (or at the very least equally as good) as having a link from one place with that content. But obviously having multiple links from multiple locations each with different content is ideal.
