Do you convert the visitors into buyers with your articles? If it's not a secret what is your conversion rate? :)

Thanks for the kind words guys. :)

I'll usually do a little research (around half an hour's worth) on the subject I'm planning to write on, and then write a few articles based on what I learned. I've found that the articles flow much more nicely that way.

I have, once. Currently I've had 243 clicks and 1 sale, so you do the math. :)

    Day 25 & 26 - September 24th & 25th, 2007

Nothing terribly exciting today. I got a few more articles out and have almost finished writing another two. I also surpassed 3,000 article views.

Ponynugget -- great post man, been reading along as i've been doing articles aswell.

I've just a quick question for anyone really. I've submitted 4 articles to EzineArticles today, they each had 4 links to an affiliate redirect domain. 3 of the articles got accepted -- but 1 has been declined because of affiliate links.

What do i do now? As the others were acceppted, had the same number of links, and were about the same length???

    Cheers for the help.

Hope you get another sale soon Ponynugget :)

Do the links go to a top level that redirects (domain.com instead of domain.com/file.html)? That's allowed by EzA, redirecting from files or directories isn't. In the first case you can appeal the rejection, in the second there's not really much you can do but correct the links and resubmit. And you'll have to go through the Basic Plus level before becoming Platinum.

@kromit -- no, the links are top level domain -- ww.mysite.info In all articles.

So does this mean now, because some guy has decided that its not ok -- when the other people who cheked my articles said they were ok, that i will have to go through basic plus??? :(

If you followed their rules it's probably an error of the editor. Follow the process for appealing the article rejection and it will probably get approved. Mention that 3 of 4 articles with the same link were approved and only the one in question was not. If everything else is OK you should also not be flagged for Basic Plus.

You have inspired me to try this myself. I have picked a product, created a landing page, and am writing articles like never before. Just waiting for EzineArticles to upgrade my account cause I have hit 10 articles.

That translates to about 37% CTR which is - interestingly - the exact CTR of two articles I have at EzA. I don't know what kind of figures other people are getting, but roughly 1 in 3 seems very good to me too.

I've got the following so far:

Page Views: Your articles have resulted in 80 page views.
Published: 0 times the EzinePublisher link has been followed for your articles.

--- I just reduced the number of links to my site in the problem one. I should have followed your advice kromit, and appealed the failed article -- i guess this means im going basic plus :(

I'm going to write a few more articles on monday. Give a differnt style a go. as i seem to be getting a low CTR

p.s i seem to be getting a higher CTR on the 4 i've done for goarticles -- although... One of my articles on ezinearticles, is No.3 on google with 87,100 results.
