H Everyone, I have recently bought a piece of software that will automatically upload aticles to content directories heloing me create backlinks. Not sure how long it will take google to index all these sites. There is about 300 of them. Is there anyway I can give the URL's of my articles to google so they will be indexed? Thanks
yes put all your links on an rss feed or a blog and ping it. but a better solution is to let google find those article alone for a month or two and than use rss to mass submit them to other places on the web
Yeah, you will have to ping them. PingoMatic is a good site to use, but there are several other ones. Matt Cutts said it best: "Google updates every 3 months".
My suggestion is to forget submitting to so many low quality directories. In my experience submitting to the top 4-5 article directories is not only more effective for SEO, but you don't need to worry about indexing as it gets taken care of within 24 hours of approval.
You can also social bookmark your articles at sites like Mister-Wong, Jumptags, Mixx, Propeller, etc. Don't do it all at once, though. Spread it out over a couple of weeks.
I'd say not to submit in 300 directories as it will create duplicate content issues and google don't like much duplicate content. I recommend you to submit in top 30-50 directories only and make sure they get indexed by Google.
On the subject of article marketing, what is the best service which provides mass submission of articles to blogs/article directories? In particular, those services which accept spun articles. I have used Unique Article Wizard with some success - but there are others out there, such as Free Traffic System, Article Marketing Automation. I'd be interested in getting people's views as to which they can recommend based on experience.
I dont know article marketing and create backlinks have different theme and you should work for it in the different way.
I'm submitting my article on 30 directories including the top article directories. So you mean I'm just wasting my time?
Why would you be wasting your time? Those people manually submit to 30 different directories... Takes up too much time.. Even if you only submit to 5 or less. My submission is automated, 1 click, and it goes to about 200-700 article directories, blogs, forums, publishers, websites and so-on - depending on which website I'm trying to get backlinks for.... And, did I mention, my articles go to the exact same directories they manually submit to - plus alot more.. Automation is the bomb! And if you're interested, holler at me by PM and I will tell you what keywords I'm targeting and where I sit in the SERPs.
I would just submit to Ezinearticles.com . It has a PR of 6 and is the highest of other directories like Hubpages(PR5) and Squidoo (PR5) and Ezinearticles.com tends to rank well as well. As far as duplicate content. I wouldn't worry about it so much as long as the content is already on a Article Directory Like Ezine. Don't post to your site then try to put it on a directory because they won't accept it and you're wasting your time. I didn't believe it either about posting to a directory first then the site until my business partner was ranking higher than the content he was pulling. So, at the end of the day it's about getting those links and building credibility! Hope that helps. I also do seo, article marketing. I'd be willing to help you out. Send me a PM and we can talk about it.
To keep it simple. Create an account at Ezinearticles.com, then just submit the article there. It takes upto 4-7 days for them to review it. It took mine 3 days. It just depends. And you only get 10 article submissions at first, but if they're quality Ezine will upgrade you to Basic Plus which is 25 articles, and Platinum (which I have) which is unlimited article submissons. Obviously, don't submit duplicate content. That's the quickest way to be banned!
