Has anyone promoted a Squidoo lens through article marketing and run into a problem? For example, EzineArticles.com is picky about how you link (and many others are as well) and I wondered if a Squidoo lens would be a problem with any article directories.
No, but I seriously think article marketing for a squidoo lens would be a waste. The backlinks are better spent on your own site.
We have never linked to a lens from an article. We have used Squidoo Lenses quite successfully and find they are indexed quickly. Part of the answer lies in setting up a link to the Squidoo Lens from someplace like a social bookmark or another high profile source. Hope this helps.
