I recently wanted to some link building through articles, I asked for some quotes in the B/S/T section and noticed that after searching google for "Article heading here" all the results are from articles directories and rarely any sites using the articles... even some of the sites using the articles has removed the links in bio box...

so is it worth paying $50-150 per article for article directory links?

    Thanks,
    Srik

    $50-150 per article?
Is that just to get the article written or does that include the article submission to the directory sites?

Yes its worth it don't spam the article directories out with duplicated content it does not work I still don't understand from this day why people do that, but yet they complain that they don't get results.

You could also try http://www.contextual-style.com unique blog links.. pr3+

I use article marketing as a way to build backlinks and it works. Submit the article to ezinearticles.com or one of the other major article directories. Then submit it to an article distribution service. I like Isnare.com although they take up to a week to approve the article. You can use the same article you don't need a unique one.

Webmasters and bloggers pick up the articles and post them to their sites so that gives you even more links. Yes, sometimes they remove your link but that's against the terms of service. Most people are honest and leave them.

Use a keyword phrase in the title of the article and at least once more in the body of the article. I also usually use it in the last paragraph of the article as well.

When you link in the author's resource box use those keywords as the text for the link.

For example: Want to know more about credit card consolidation. rather than find out more at http://www.58waystofindmoney.com.

I link inner pages of sites as well as the home page.

I have an article writing and distribution service that is less expensive. PM me if you're interested. You can search under my name Dee Power at ezinearticles.com to see some of what I've written.

I submit to 20 for every article that I write. People say that google "frowns" upon duplicate articles but I haven't had any backlash.

I would post the articles yourself.... but don't just rely on article marketing for link building.... you have to use a whole bunch of link building tips and techniques to really see some good success. You can have success with JUST article marketing, but if google decides one day to not like articles at all, then you'll be back to square one...

Article writing and submission should cost $25 per article tops.

Anything over that is getting ripped off.

just write it yourself. i don't understand why you would want to promote something you don't know enough about yourself to even write an article or two.
