hey guys, just wanna see if my ctr is average or poor? I get anywhere from 25-40% from my article to my landing page and then from my landing page to the sales page i get around 30% and then i make a sale around 1%. What are these stats like? are they good or poor? What are you getting? thanks guys
Your ctr from your landing page to the sales page is low IMO. It is not difficult to get 60%+ on landing pages when it is the first stop. Being that you are already eliminating more than half of the visitors, you should be seeing a much better ctr. My guess is that there is a lot you could do with your landing page to raise your CTR or the niche could be a bad choice. Feel free to pm me the landing page and I will give it a look.
I don't see many people are sharing there experience on this. As far as my case is concern, I use my author box as its a part of article to improve my click through ratio, from Article to landing page I get around 50%-55%. When visitor come to my landing page I get around 70% of click trough ratio and 1.5% conversion if its compare review style landing page. But when it comes to personal review page the case is different, I get around 40%-50% of click trough rate with 2%-3% of conversion rate. I believe when a visitor comes to your site you have to attract him in less than 15sec by Catchy headline or Catchy Image. This will generate interest in visitor to read content. One more thing, DO add analytic on landing page and check what is the avg time of user who stay on your site and try to improve it. Hope this help.
