Most Article directories are free to join and article-gems has been for 2 years free to join. But because we found we were spending most of our time deleted authors promoting drugs and escort services, HGH, replica products, etc, etc we decided to charge $10 for new signups. I knew this would mean no one new would be likely to join, but I still get 100's of articles from current authors, so what do I care. What do you think about this step? Should more article directory owners do the same? Is it punishing good authors because of the bad? Is it unfair? Your views?
