Nope, that is a bad idea. Read a few articles then write your own. It shouldn't be too difficult. If you put some effort into writing your own articles, I guarantee you will see better results.

Why do you want to have a blog if you can't produce good article. This about what value can you provide to your visitors? You can add value by spending time on reading, commenting, and than posting good articles from article directory.

It will not be original and the chance of driving search traffic will be remote.

There will be chance that your pages will appear in supplemental result.
It will be hard to get out of there.

You can outsource the writing of articles. Let a pro do it for you.

I'm sure there are some great offers in the Digitalpoint forums.

Some people are prepared to write articles for a few dollars.

Just do a search for 'content writing' or 'article writing'...

This will always be the case:

Unique fresh content is the best way to get your pages indexed by the major search-engines.
I submit most of them to ezinearticles too and very often I'm on #1 in Google for the phrase I chose.

Articles submitted to ezinearticles.com never end up in the 'supplemental results' from my experience.

What you need to do is read an article on an article site about how to write an article :)

    Everyone can write, just practice.

Republishing content is a bad idea, the content will not get indexed in Google.

I think you should start a Article Directory with some free article directory script. Blog means, something personal. Your own work, your own opinions, your own tutorials, your own findings, your own things etc. You can receive articles from authors by starting a article directory and when time passes and you did successfully promoted it, the article directory will be on semi-automatic at that time.

You could read up a number of articles and write your own stuff then. It's not the same as copying but then your content becomes unique.
