Article Directory Script, but NOT for an Article Directory

    Well... not exactly.

I've been deciding how to set up www.BizHow2.com - all I know is I plan to obviously make it a series of how to articles about business topics. Most of the articles will be my own.

I'd like to leave it open for people to submit their own if they feel like it though, so I thought an article directory script might be a good bet. However, are there any that can do the following things:

    1. Allow visitors to rate articles.
    2. Set it so all articles have to be approved by an editor, to make sure there are no duplicates and that the quality doesn't suck.

There are a few other things, but they're slipping my mind right now. I'm sure some do this. I'm just not familiar with them, so I thought I'd ask. :)

there are many article scripts out there which can do the above two and more. The two i'd recommend at this time are:
    - interspire's articlelive
    - echoarticles

You can also opt for a full-blown cms like drupal or joomla if you have more things to add to the site in the future, but mind you, they both require some initial customization to get them going. Both of these have a large support base and plenty of mods are available for nearly everything.

I really don't like drupal or joomla. I am definitely hoping to add more to the site, and was going to try to find a way to set everything up with cmsms (I'm sure it's possible, just not sure how). But I have reasons for wanting this one up pretty early next year w/o normal delays of me trying to figure things out. ;)

I'll look into those article directory scripts. Thanks. :)
