    Hello!

So a lot of people told me to submit articles to article directories...

I'm convinced it's a good thing and can really help in SEO but, do I need to submit the articles that are already on my website (after they were indexed by search engines of course :p) or do I need to spin them a little to be unique and then submit them to the article directory?

    Thanks a lot,
    Vlad

I say unique them up :D Although there is no way for Google or any search engine to know where an article originated from but it's a good idea to keep unique content on your own website.

The purpose is that you must win links from wherever you can.Live the same article and put one or two links or yours on the article or in the resources box and when accepted you have a link to your site doesn`t matter if that article is already in google...better spin it a little to avoid duplicate content.

You can submit a summary of articles on your site with a backlink to the original article.

i've used article directories extensively for over 15 months and created over 500 high quality articles and I can tell you it gets you very little traffic and very few high quality backlinks. It was great 12 months ago but forget it now, stick to blogging, it's far more effective, particularly on do folow blogs
