    I have an article, and I want to submit to article directories, now I was just curious. can I submit the same article to a bunch of directories or do I have to have a unique article in each article directory? Also does the backlink in the article to your website really help much with SERP/PR.

    -Thanks

    Yes, the backlinks help. Unique is always better, but clearly you won't be writing 200 versions of your articles. I tried some article re-writers once and they output garbage.

    You could always try the following:

    1) Write your entire article naturally
    2) Take each paragraph of your article and write 3 versions of it. Note that it must start and end on the same note/idea (not same words) as the original paragraph.
    3) Mix and match your paragraphs.
    4) Have multiple titles for the same article and multiple author resource box's.

    If you use a program like "Article Post Robot" then it will do the mixing/matching on submission automagically. It uses a format like this.

    {{{It was raining outside today|Today the weather was gloomy|Wet and cold was the today's forecast}}}

    You get the idea. Upon submission it would pick one of the three versions. There is no reason that you couldn't do this yourself (without a tool to help), but it is easier with the tool.
