I see a lot of websites that offer to submit your one original article to like a ton of different articles directories...isn't that bad? Arent you supposed to submit only one original article to one directory like ezinearticle.com? Also when submitting to an article directory are u supposed to target keywords people would search for in the directory or keywords for search engines? Like currently ive been add big general keywords like "weight loss" where it asks u to enter in keywords, but i think im supposed to put the same keywords im targeting in my article copy? Any thoughts and tips on article directory submissions would be great, thanks.
Hi there, I'm new to the forum but saw your post. I do a lot with submitting articles directly to article directories, mostly ezinearticles.com. I haven't used a submission service because I submit my own. But from what I've heard, thesse services can be effective. It's normally alright to submit the same article to multiple article directories. In fact that can help get your article out quicker. You can do that yourself or try a submissions service. As far as keywords go, when you submit your article you have the chance to list keywords for that article. You can list a string of relevant keywords. I think you make a good point that using a very general keyword may not get the results you want. The best this is to get more specific with your keywords according to the content of your article. If you submit to many sites, try using the keyworsd that you feel will give you the best results. I hope you get started wtih article submissions. I have found this to really be a great way to start getting your name ad products out on the web for free (or a small fee if you use a service). Anyway, I hope this is helpful. Take care, Writingright
I submit some articles to EzineArticles, SearchWarp, GoArticles, Buzzle, ArticleAlley, IdeaMarketers, Isnare, ArticlesBase, ArticleDashboard, Amazines and more... Google usually gets one of them to the top spot for particular keywords.
