    only submit to high pr quality article directories. submitting articles to low quality article directories won't do anything except to help with indexing your page. google is getting smarter and smarter and they will devalue links from low quality sites.

    Article directories could be a great medium for the promotion of your website and for link building that leads to your website. And the more backlinks you get to your website, the better your chances are for getting ranked high in the search engines.

    One can't submit same article in multiple article directories because that would be considered as spam. Copyscape will show there are several same articles exists. If you can create new article for each article directories then that will be fine.

    Yes ofcourse they play an important role in SEO.Unique and good quality content brings more traffic and back links.Try to submit your article on good article directory because links from article directories is counted.No doubt it is helpful in SEO.

    Article & Directory is good for SEO, but as a back link. Instead of article submission guest blogging is a better option is gives you do follow back link for a life time. Directories are good for starters who want to be enrolled their website in the search engines.
