Hi, I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with writting programs to interact with Article Dashboard directories (ie: submit articles to a list of 'article dashboard' directories)? I have a fairly good knowledge of VB, C#, VB.NET, C & Java so any sort of direction or tutorial would be much appreciated!

    Thanks in advance,

There is already software made for AD that submits articles to other AD sites. Check their forum.

Thanks for the suggestion. I took a look at that but it requires permissions to be set and some other things that aren't easily done for me considering my sites are hosted with a hosting company. I was more looking for desktop software, do you know where i could look for that?

I just reviewed some software here and yesterday I also found www.articlesender.com which is run by a dp'er and looks really good. I am going to try this tomorrow.

I also have a completely free article submission application for Article Dashboard sites. The link is in my sig.

By the way, ArticleSender is only partially free. They have a small list of sites (29 currently) on their free list, but to get submissions to all 105 sites requires a donation.

Also, ArticleSender is not a desktop application. It is an autosubmitter script like the one at Article Marketer (not free) or Submit-Articles (free). The only desktop applications I'm aware of are Article Submitter Pro, Article Post Robot, and one other similar one. To my knowledge, mine is the only free desktop application available.

I freely admit that my program has some limitations. I have tried to overcome some of those limitation with version 2 (which is in beta testing), but even in version two there are limitations. For example, my program is not an autosubmitter. It is a semi-autosubmitter. I feel authors have a responsibilty to select their own category. The browsing and copying & pasting is done automatically, but you must select the category and hit submit. This means my software is a more time consuming than some of the others, but I don't get emails from webmasters asking me to take their site off my list because of too much junk being sent. At any rate, one can submit an article to over 200 sites in about 4 hours with my software.

It was when I made the post on January 30th. The link is/was http://www.after5webdesign.com/software.html.

A lot of stuff has been going on in my life and I have pulled the software from my site for the time being. It was requiring just too much time to maintain. I have plans to completely revamp the software (and I have worked on it some), but I have no real ETA for version 3.

ha, sorry - I'm the worst when it comes to checking the dates on posts.. I really like that feature on joomla forums where if it hasn't been replied to in 45 days it warns you.

I'm using your software right now and it rocks! So far I've submitted to about 95 sites, with 200 to go! I don't even wanna think about how long it would take without it, thanks Bro!
