hi, i am sure many people have encountered this... someone copy your article 95 to 100%, mass distribute it in different article directories, remove your link and name and claim the article is written by them. i dont think legal action works.. coz everyone lives in different country. you contact the crook asking him to remove all his stolen article and he didnt reply. you then emailed to the article directories that he submited his article to, asking them to remove the articles and they did.. good so far but tomorrow he starts stealing again. these people have bots that does that over and over again... goarticles.com seems to be a place where robbers love to lurk around.. It is just sick to see these robbers getting away everytime and no one seems to be able to come up with any no real solution. i think these people ought to be punished hard, real hard so that no one will follow their footsteps again. what can we do? any ideas?
I have not personally had this issue happen to me yet so i am not sure what you can actually do in the means of legal action. One thing you could do is report it to the search engine and make sure they are flagged for duplicate content and thus sent to supplemental hell. You might also be able to email their hosting service provider. Again i am just making some initial guesses of areas i would start with.
Haven't experienced this so i'm not sure what will be legal actions that can be done. Ask legal authorities about this if there something to be done for those stealers.
honestly, i already experienced my article was copied... and i really felt bad.. it's like, it is my OWN hard work then there's this someone who will just copy my work.. with no respect at all.
I have had some sucess with reporting the guilty one to their ISP. Some suspended there client imediately while other ISP were a little less helpful. Think we need to start naming those ISP's who let there clients get away with copyright infringement.
I already encountered this with several websites. Generally, if it's a plausible link worthy website, we ask them to give us due credit by putting a link to our website. If they're not willing to credit us, we ask them to remove the content they copied or threaten them that we'll report them for content stealing. Most of the time, those plausible link worthy sites do give us due credit. As for the horrible websites who steal contents, we generally just make sure to report them to proper authorities and follow up on it until their sites are either banned or something similar to that.
The sad fact is that most article directories will not respond to support emails so you are pretty much screwed if the article is sent to a bunch of them. Unless you threaten to take legal action against the person who stole it an ask them to log into their account and remove the articles from all the sites.
I can't stand people who steal content. I own an article directory and just today noticed someone submitting a ton of articles over a short period of time. Running some of the articles through some checks on Google I noticed that he/she was going to websites and ripping content to place on article directories (mine as well as others) that then would promote their own website in the same niche. Having contacted the owner of the site that is being ripped I discovered that this person has no right to use the articles. Removing and banning this person from my directory is one thing, but I already know that he/she is doing exactly the same on many other directories. Unfortunately many website owners will not notice and this person will get away with it many more times.
you can not do anythink for them. here is what i'm doing * preventing people tp select the page * prevent the rigth click
