Announcing the Launch of Article Codex!

Article Codex is a new player in the free article directory scene but we have our sights set high and I like to think that we have put together an excellent resource for both article writers and webmasters looking for quality content for their websites!

    What makes us different?

    For Webmasters

Article codex provide a free script that offers webmasters a very easy and simple method to add a selection of our articles on their website. These articles are pulled from categories chosen by the webmasters and using the script, these articles appear on their website and this service is completely FREE. (Well, we do require a link back to our site from all script pages, but that isn't much to ask for a free script like this surely? If you really want a version of the script without having a link back to us then please check out our "Content Plus" option!)

Our service allows you to customize the look and feel of these articles so that they integrate into your website and look like a part of your website.

Click here to see one of the Article Codex Demo sites setup using the exact same script as you can get by signing up!

This script is available in both PHP and ASP

    For Article Writers

Everyone here knows well the advantages of submiting articles to Article Directories like this. However thanks to our Free Site Content Feed for webmasters once your article is submited to a category your content (and links!) are automatically syndicated to every site that has choosen to display articles from your category! For Free!

We also offer full "wysiwyg" Article and "About the Author" editors so you can have links with good quality anchor keywords from both your article text and "About the Author by-line.

For serious article writers we also offer our "Content Plus" package. This allows you to schedule the release of articles both on your own version of the Free Content Feed script if you are using it and on the main article codex site. For a full list of the Content Plus features please see our site!

The site is in "Beta" at the moment but we are hoping to have a minimum of errors thanks to some extensive end user testing we've been doing over the last few months. We are still finishing off a few of the pages so please bear with us if you can't find something you are looking for.

Also we currently have no articles at all in the database as we have decided not to pre-populate our database with anyone elses articles. We want to try and populate our own directory with fresh new content without filling up from ezinearticles.com or goarticles.com but we hope that we will manage to get a fairly decent number of articles into the site in fairly short order.

Anyway enough blabber from me.. Have a look at the site and let me know what you think! For the moment I am only posting this here on Digital Point so I can get a good idea of the response before I launch the site fully. Also we have tried to be as comprehensive as possible with our category lists but obviously we won't have covered everything. Let me know what we're missing and we'll add it straight away :D

    Oh one other thing.

I am putting together a utility for people running article submission services so they can bulk submit articles via a database\csv\other file type.

If you are running an article submission service and would be interested (or have ideas on how we can customise the article submission forms better for yourselves) then please send me a PM :)

We've turned the adsense adverts on for our site which has now activated our Adsense revenue sharing so any articles submited will show your adsense id 50% of the time.

Of course when you view your own articles while logged in you won't be shown your own ID to protect yourself RE: the Google Adsense TOS and the rotation statistics won't be affected in anyway.

Thanks to feedback we've changed the setup to allow non-members to submit articles without having to register.

When submiting articles as a non member you can't add your Adsense ID and your articles won't have a "View all articles by.." link allowing end users to see all your articles grouped together but it does make article submission easier for people offering article submission services.

There is now a link on the left hand side to Submit an Article or you can go to the relevant article and click on Submit an Article at the bottom of the page.

Let me know if you have any feedback\thoughts\problems with the new submission.
