I would like to know of any other DP memebers who are using this software before I part with $ 600 over the next 12 months

    Regards

Do you really want to get in touch with such lowlife internet-scamming asses that actually buys that software to further bloat the search engines indexes for their own personal gain?

Im just asking, cuz your karma is going waaaay down.

Eh? If it takes half a day, why wouldn't you just write your own?

wow I never knew anything was out there like this.

I wrote my own tool for this and it was fricking hard. One of the hardest things I have ever done.

Natural language parsing is no joke.

it has some pretty good stuff, it just not that intuative and throws lots of errors

It also uses a mysql which seems like over kill for a single user app, it eats up ram and freezes computers etc.

I was just asking to get some feedback / other people’s feedback. To be honest unless my DP Karma is going to make my mortgage more expensive I am not at all bothered.

The idea of a forum is to invite comment on subjects, not make idle threats about something that doesn’t even exist.

As other posts show on here no one has a straight answer about this application, hence why I am still asking the question....

    Thanks

    Eddie

I've bought it - for a month. then gave up on it.
It has some interesting features, but also some crap ones - it uses MySQL, but requires it to be installed on the local machine. You can use a remote MySQL server but you still need it to be installed on the localmachine. Something is seriously wrong in the way that side of things is coded, an odbc connection is exactly that, and it shouldn't matter where the sql server is. The software seems to eats ram like there's no tomorrow - smacks of a memory leak to me.
Shoemoney - if you're interested in licensing your software, then send me a PM - I'd be interested in trying it.
Article Bot doesn't do natural language parsing, it's uses a list of synonims (spelling ??) to replace words/phrases in a document. Article Bot doesn't give 2 hoots whether the language it spits out actually makes sense, that is left down to the user to check. Yes, you can use it to generate massively different variations on a theme (ie 1000 versions of an article), but I personally didn't think it worth the effort to learn how to use it.

Translating your normal sentences into smarter sounding jargon
    hey whats up dude

    translates to

    hey whats up coxcomb

ok just for the record I have nothing to offer to the public =P. I just use it internally and I am tuning the engine more every day. I do not use it to make any money just for my own educational purposes (for now). I am waiting until it gets over 1 billion articles to post actual results. (which should be sometime about this december).

I just bought the domain articlesdb.com from ajeet for this purpose so keep a eye on that domain maybe someday it will fly =P

I have not tried Article Bot yet, but if it just replaces the words in a document with a list of words specified, why don't you guyz use "Find and Replace" - inbuilt function of Dreamweaver. It is very handy for me. :)

The simple answer to that is:
You create a list of synomims (or however it's spelt), tell AB how many pages to create, and it will trundle through replacing the various words in various combinations and you get your pages.
You can take 1 article and create a couple of 1000 derivitives a damn site quicker than you could with DW. Find and Replace can only do so far. Say you've got a 800 word article, you've bult a list of a 50 or so alternative words/phrases imagine the work involved with DW on changing those phrases using all combinations - now you know why AB and the like is useful.
NOTE: it's got uses other than creating webpages. Imagine you're passing the article on to other sites/people, you can actually give everyone a unique article.

it sounds like that is somekind of automatic article fetcher - now that would be useful. I've been meaning to look for something like that for a while.
