    Its all very well people saying that directories give traffic but I've never seen any. Directories are all about links IMO.

    Interesting read.

    Some of the better quality directories do give me a bit of traffic here & there. Not a lot, but I won't turn down a few extra visitors for free.

    Try looking for directories in your niche - I've noticed that people will actually go to those looking for resources...imagine that :p.
