Yeh, its only a rumour that was going around on the bbc sport transfer deadline day page but an interesting one?
I remeber when i was at Keowns testimonial and he played in the Xl team, the whole highburry crowd was chanting beckham for arsenal and he was laughing and clapping
Beckham is a good player but he only has about 4-5 years if that left in his football , it would be nice to see beckham sign on loan for Arsenal as i think he would fit in well , i have and always will say that beckham moving to LA Galaxys was a big big mistake for him. I also think even if Beckham is not going to get put in the first team for England at lest give him his 100 cap , hes played well for us and won us some games in the past to keep us in the tourneys.
I have to say the only positive i can find from todays game is possibly the two goals by the walcott, with eduardo out now it could be important to have another strikers confidence raised, also this might make william gallas fight even harder for what he wants, the premiership.
With that injury, Eduardo might end up missing Euro 2008. Wenger says Taylor should not play football again.
Taylor should be banned for life... This isn't the game anymore, this maybe means he will never have the possibility to play football anymore. This looks like a match in holland: Sparta-Go ahead eagles. Rachid Bouaouzan(now playing for wigan athletic) made a horrible attack on niels kokmeijer. You can find it on youtube.. Search Bouaouzan kokmeijer and you will find it.
I don't agree, it's a bad injury and there is no getting away from that, but i don't believe it was malicious. This challenge wasn't like that, eduardo was simply too quick for taylor. Wenger has just issued an apology, after what he said about taylor after the match. You think??? I'm not sure if he will ever play again...
Apparantly Eduardo has had emergency surgery to save his foot... http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080223112632AAp1oyk
I don't like Arsenal but I wouldn't wish that kind of injury on anyone, so I hope he heals up as fast as possible.
It was a good thing that Sky didn't replay that scene. It was horrific. Taylor was obviously way to slow to catch up with Eduardo's pace. However, if you look, he was obviously going in to stop the play from building up, not to get the ball from Eduardo. He shouldn't be banned for life, but he certainly should be penalized beyond the three game ban. It was sickening. Also, if Taylor has even half a brain, the best thing to do at this situation is to go visit Eduardo once he is able to see guests.
