This is gonna mean hard times for us now if Henry has gone its likely Wenger, Fabregas, Persie and more of our younger players will walk also. And only £16m, although he is getting on a bit hes worth much more than that.
    What you guys think?

I'm not an Arsenal fan at all, but they are really going to struggle now I think. They have Van Persie and Adebayor but Henry was something special. I know one man doesn't make a team but he really inspired the team, youngsters especially to play well. Without him lsst season they looked ordinary, and I think with only getting 16 million for him they are going to struggle to get a decent replacement. Next season they will struggle even more as Man Utd and Chelsea are spending money, whereas Arsenal haven't much to spend and haven't signed anyone I don't think. I think they could miss out on a top five finish this season.
As for Wenger leaving,f he does it will have an impact on who stays and whgoes. Player like Fabregas and Toure, Walcott even might decide to leave as two of the more infleuential people at the club have gone.

16 million does look a bit cheap for a man of Henry's calibre. It does look like David Dein leaving the club is going to have far more repercussions than originally thought.

Henry leaving will create a huge void- he has been the face of the Gunners, Henry jerseys sell twice as well as other jerseys. Many people have come to associate Arsenal with Henry, especially in the last five years.

Henry's departure has created a huge gap in Arsenels attack.

They will find the going tough from now on. I wish him luck for barcelona! I will still watch his magic unfurl on the television!

Arsenal still have Adebayor and Van Persie, though neither are in the same league as Thierry Henry. And if Arsene stays, he will manage to find another Henry- just as he did 8 years ago for a Juventus lad

Well it looks like Arsene wants Tevez as a replacement, Tevez is a great striker but it takes players time to settle in to Arsenals style since its so quick and i don't think Tevez will be able to next season.
If you think Chelsea bought Shevchenko for £30m and Henry is better than Shevchenko letting him go for so cheap is stupid.

After Dein's departure and Wenger's reluctance to sign a contract, it was inevitable really. Henry had to go. Plus at Barca, he gets to play alongside some of most gifted players on the planet. Barcelona really needed a front man who could complement Eto'o and they have done smart business with Henry.

The 16 million price tag though is a disgrace. Owen Hargreaves moved for 17. Darren Bent is on the verge of signing ; a 16 million transfer away from Charlton.
The price clearly suggests that Henry was in no mood to stay ; but again I personally feel Arsenal made a financial mess of the deal.

The paper says Wenger is trying to get Anelka back for £11m, so he sells someone who has been the worlds best striker for £16m and Anelka is worth 11?
The future looks bad for us, playing for top 6 next season...:(

I do not intend to stir emotions here, but I guess even Tottenham have now assembled a better overall squad than Arsenal and the Gunners will have to buy big now if they have to retain their top 4 spot.

Well I am not fan of Arsenal but its bad news for Arsenal and I am sure some important players may also go away from this club.

I really miss him in EPL but will see in UEFA.
