I was with hosting.com, happy with their servie but they had often had server downtime 3 or 4 am (in USA) in the morning when in UK it was busy time of day. So I decided to move.

So, we moved hosting, had some problems getting them to configure, but all worked for about 2 weeks, then all website generated email stopped. We eventually got them to provide their recommedned email scripts, but these did not work either. No one could tell us what they had changed on their servers or how we should change our script to get it working. This company we are currently with is webhosting.uk.com .... it has been a terrible experience, their tech support is poor, very poor. They respond quickly but they lack technical knowledge.

The upshot is we are now looking for a new windows asp host in the UK ... needs to be in UK.

    Anyone got recommendations?

    Many thanks

If you are tired and frustrated of other hosts playing around with you, including me, I would highly recommend m6.net windows hosting service for you.
It has nice reputation and specializes in delivering windows hosting services..
    You can rely on them.

How long has the host been around?
it’s beneficial if they have been established for some time.. choose time-tested and trusted web hosting provider.

If it absolutely must be in the UK, I would probably recommend eukhost and/or webhostinguk to name just a few.

you should pick the top website hosting company and join in their money making businesses online - so find as much as possible signs of reliability about the host you are planning to deal with.
