There is no simple definition Homebiz.

Victory is a policy that protects our children, protects our adult citizens freedoms and health. A policy that gets rid of the violence the drug war has brought, a policy that reduces taxes from savings from no longer fighting the drug war. A policy of education, a policy of counseling and not forcing our citizens into the sewers of our civilization from being afraid of getting help for their addiction. A policy that stops throwing our citizens into jail for using a substance, a policy that no longer makes it easy for a inner city youth to make more in a few months dealing drugs than they could hope to make in years of honest work.

That is a damn good start.

I know your victory is 'If one person is kept off drugs then it is a success.' the only problem is it costs billions of dollars, thousands of lives, more thousands thrown in prison, families torn apart and so much more to save that one person. I would hardly call creating a worse problem a 'victory' in such a case.

    It's sad that you would..

    ----

Oh and BTW that was a 'wink' not a 'rolleyes' you should really know the difference. Plus an 'insult' in response to your insult, there was also more into than you quoted.

Alcohol is worse than weed and worse than many 'hard' drugs.

I apologize for getting the wink wrong.

Why do you not consider the people in jail for breaking the law a success?

Not all laws are just. It is a waste of tax payer money, it destroys families, it creates violence and other crime, it creates death and an underground society which is next to impossible to dig out of.

Why do you consider that a success?

Do you consider it a success when a steroid user is thrown into jail?

All the athletes I know get them from the DR. No danger of going to jail. What's your beef with steroids?

Oh I don't know such things as 'steroids are legal' according to you. Or that 'most steroids are from prescriptions' or now you stating that all of the people you know get them from prescription.

The above is paraphrased of course.

BTW even if everyone you knew got them from the doctor with prescription, not everyone gets them that way. How about those users and dealers? Most users get them from Under ground labs and outside of the country, not by the doctor.

Lastly those who get steroids prescribed but technically do not need them are in fact breaking the law in many cases, much like doctor shopping for pain pills.

    The paraphrase was fine

The DR's are just trying to help the patient.

Really, so it's ok for them to break the law if they are just 'trying to help the patient' still you don't respond about those who are illegally using and selling steroids.

    I wonder why?

I think it's fine to receive steroids from a DR and I do not consider it breaking the law, even if it is just to increase muscle mass.

Oh so since you don't consider it breaking the law it's not. Gotta love that logic.

There are laws on how a prescription can be dispensed and for what.

For 'increasing' muscle mass for sports Homebiz is not one of them.

Yeah you use that at a court hearing.

Nice avoidance of any question, all the while being for the drug war but only selectively, and being 1/2 blind most of the way through.

How is that selective. I think it's OK to use drugs prescribed by a DR. If the drugs are against the law I am not promoting individuals use them because of the consequences of their actions.

    Sure appears selective to me.

BTW you are still wrong on the above, most steroids do not come from 'doctor prescriptions' nor is it legal for a doctor to prescribe steroids for athletes simply for competition purposes.

Sure looks selective to me, and very non factual to boot.

I really like when you say that going to jail puts hardships on families. Like no kidding.
